It's Only Rock 'n' Roll

The following are emphatically NOT rock 'n' roll, despite common "wisdom":

1. The ability to sleep in a van for x days with x people
2. Long hair
3. Smoking
4. Drinking
5. Short hair
6. Name dropping
7. Animosity towards wealth
8. Colorful hair
9. Anti-religion (or extreme religious antics: devil worship, etc.)
10. Jet black hair
11. Sexuality
12. The ability to be accepting of, or participate in, alternative lifestyles
13. Rejecting one's family, esp. parents
14. The word "fuck"

The following IS:

1. The ability to write, develop, and deliver quality rock 'n' roll songs
